Eco-Friendly GreenPan Feature & Giveaway ($220 Value)

Did you know that traditional non-stick cookware is made with PTFE, which breaks down when using high temperatures, releasing toxins into the air and into your food?  That sounds scary doesn't it? Now thanks to GreenPan: the original you don't have to worry about those dangerous chemicals any longer.

A couple of weeks ago I received one of their Eco-Friendly Non-Stick Frypans from their Stockholm collection and we have been using it every day since.  They use Thermolon non-stick technology that is a natural mineral based non-stick coating. No PTFE or silicone oils to worry about.   Because it is heat resistant you don't have to worry about overheating your pan and releasing toxic fumes either.

GreenPan manufactures their products in an environmentally friendly manner.  For example, the aluminum and the material for the stainless steel part of the handles is up-cycled!  I love it!

After using it for a while I can say that the steel handles are very ergonomic and comfortable to grip and I love the pan's performance.  Because of its Thermolon interior and heat distribution all of our meals are beautifully cooked.  The GreenPan is also truly non-stick and very easy to clean.

Here are a few of the main features of the GreenPan (click on the photo to see the full-size photo on their website)

Win it: Two lucky One Smiley Monkey readers from Canada will win one eco-friendly GreenPan. Each one valued at $110.  Click "Read more" below to see the Rafflecopter form and to enter.
