PEAPOD Creations: Organic Cuddly Wrap, Blanket & Burp Cloths {Giveaway}

As most of you already know I love fabrics made of 100% organic cotton AND I love baby wrap carriers.  Well, thanks to PEAPOD Creations I got to try their Cuddly Wrap made of 100% certified organic cotton and their organic cotton blanket and burp cloths. You can imagine that I have been in organic cotton heaven since! 

Their lightweight Cuddly Wrap is super breathable and I love wearing it when I am doing things around the house.  You know doing housework and carrying an 12 month old child around can get uncomfortably hot if the material isn't right.  Thankfully organic cotton is very comfortable to wear and SO SO SO soft!  You must feel it to know what I am talking about,  it is the type of soft that makes you want to pick it up and press it against your cheeks.

The little monkey loves being close to mom AND being wrapped around me in soft cuddly material.  A happy baby means a happy mom and not feeling his weight on my back while wearing him make this one of my top favorite wraps.

The Cuddly Wrap is easy to wear and remove (well I have used wraps multiple times before so it is easy for me now) but if you have never done it before the wrap does come with a DVD and paper instructions with photos that are super easy to follow.   I say try it in front of the mirror first and you will be a pro in no time.

My son is all about his new blanket for nap time and I have to make sure to only wash it between nap times and before bedtime because he loves sleeping with it. He is a side sleeper at times and just wraps it around his legs and covers part of  his cheek with it.  He loves it!

I am impressed with the high quality and the material of all of the PEAPOD products. If you have been following  my blog for a while then you probably already know that I am a fan of wearing my baby and I have a carrier I use a lot. I started baby wearing my son since he was a few days old and I love the feeling of carrying him close to me.  The benefits of baby wearing are huge and the comfort and soothing experienced by your baby is priceless.

One of my favorite things about this carrier is that it works for newborns as well as it does for older babies.  My son weights about 23lbs and I am very comfortable carrying him around on our Hug-a-Bub.  I also had one of my friends with a little two week old test the carrier and she absolutely loved it.  We both like how adjustable it is and how it works great for both of our babies.

When I received my Hug-a-Bub I was a bit nervous about using it because it was my first time using a wrap. The carrier looked like a very long piece of cloth and I didn't know if I was going to feel comfortable and safe carrying my baby in it.  Thankfully they included an instructional DVD with it and after watching it (very informative) I realized how fast and easy it was to wear the wrap.

I tried it a couple of times in front of the mirror and I was then ready to carry my son.   I was so excited carrying him in a wrap for the first time and I was happy that it felt super comfortable right from the beginning.  The wrap distributed his weight evenly throughout my torso and both him and I felt ready to go for a walk.  We had a great time walking to the park and once we arrived I realized how easy it was to remove him from the carrier. 

I also love how soft the material is and the quality of the carrier. I like that it is made from certified organic cotton and it is so easy to keep clean. Something else I love is the fact that the front pocket can be used as a carrying bag if you flip it out and store the carrier in it. Perfect to take with me anywhere.

I love our new carrier and my little one does too.  It is great for taking places where it is too crowded to bring a stroller and I have been using it at home A LOT during teething. Plus one of my favorite things ever is kissing his little head while carrying him around. Nothing like being close to your precious little one!
