Piggy Paint: Non-Toxic Nail Polish {Giveaway}

pp

During my pregnancy I decided not to wear any nail polish at all because I was worried about exposing my baby to formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, BPA and many other chemicals and toxins present in traditional nail polish.  I really wish I have known about Piggy Paint back then because their safe alternative is non-toxic, odorless, eco-friendly plus safe for use during pregnancy.

Piggy Paint was invented by a mom, Melanie Hurley, after realizing that the nail polish her daughters were using wasn't safe. She saw how the substance could eat through foam and that was not acceptable as children's fingers usually end up in their mouths. Very clever mommy!

I received a couple of samples from their "Refined Piggies" collection (made specially for mommies) and I had a great time testing them.  Because they are hypoallergenic and odorless I can use them when my son is in the same room without worrying about him inhaling any toxic chemicals.

After applying I waited about a minute to ensure my nails were dry and I was done! Beautiful looking nails without any harm to my nose or our atmosphere.

I love that their website has SO many colors to chose from and that they have a line specifically made for little girls. It is perfect because girls want to look pretty and wear nail polish as well and with Piggy Paint you don't have to worry about it not being safe anymore.

I loved my samples and I am sure I will be ordering a couple of different colors pretty soon. They also sell the Piggy Paint Nail Polish Remover and that is a must have when keeping things safe and non-toxic for you and your family.
