I am constantly searching for eco-friendly non-toxic safe cleaning products for my home.  My son and I play on the floor a lot and he is always touching the floor and then putting his little hands in his mouth or even licking the floor! I keep my floors very clean but I am always worried about the actual chemicals in the products I use.

I connected with April from Shaklee Basic H2 and after reading a bit about the products she sells I was delighted to test their all-purpose cleaner. This cleaning solution is fragrance free, phosphate free, non-toxic and biodegradable.

The first thing I love about this cleaner is how concentrated it is.  I received a tiny capsule that made two 16oz bottles of their cleaning solution.  One for cleaning mirrors and the other for all-purpose cleaning.   I really like that all you need is your own squirt bottle that you keep reusing and water. No more going through bottles and bottles every time you run out of the cleaning solution.  They also sell a 16oz bottle of the concentrated solution that is equivalent to 5,824 bottles of 26oz. Windex. Isn't' that amazing?

Once I received my sample I prepared my bottles and cleaned my floors. I didn't notice a difference in the way they looked compared to what they look like when I clean them with other cleaning solutions but knowing that it is not toxic made all the difference. I really like the fact that no rinsing is required so it means less work for me!

I decided to do a big clean of the house. Including all mirrors, windows, floors and bathrooms. After that I used it for a while longer to clean basically anything that needed cleaning at home. I cleaned my pots and pans with it and even my rugs!

I admit I went a bit cleaning crazy but I just like feeling like I don't have to worry about the ingredients in the cleaning solution. Their instructions even say that you can clean your fruits and vegetables with it.

So far I like the Shaklee Basic H2 and it is working great for us. I clean my floors at least once a day and I like having a natural cleaning solution to use.
