DXG-5C8VR HD Luxe Collection Camcorder {Giveaway}

I love taking photos of my little one and I usually take lots with my DSLR camera.  Still photos are wonderful but I really should be taking more HD videos. There is nothing like seeing a high quality video of all of your little ones first experiences and there are so many things to capture.  

I was recently sent the DXG Luxe 1080p Slim HD Camcorder (Quilted Red Merlot) and I love how slim it is. I am now able to take an HD camcorder with me anywhere I go,  I carry it inside of my diaper bag and it is always ready to capture any fun moments. 

This camcorder records real 1080p high definition video and captures still pictures up to 12 megapixels. It also has a 3" touchscreen display and an HDMI interface so it can easily be connected to your HDTV.  I can easily transfer all of the videos to my computer or uploaded to Youtube via the USB cable (included).

I really love the matching camera pouch because it makes it easy to carry the camera and it keeps the camcorder protected until next time I use it, without getting any scratches or getting any dirt on it.

I like the camera's size and how easy it is to hold, plus I love that the screen flips out to allow you to see what you are recording at all times.   A feature that I really like is that you can take both still photos and record videos, so you have the choice to do either one. 

The menu is easy to navigate and the manual has all the information you need to set the camera up, transfer your videos and photos and upload them to the Internet.

When I got the camera I charged the battery and started using it right after it charged. Luckily I had a memory card sitting around as one isn't included with the camera. After setting it up I went for a walk to try it out. It was very sunny that day and I was able to capture a video of some birds and squirrels eating and playing with some hazelnuts from a tree, here is my video shot with the DXG-5C8VR:
