As a new mom I wash my hands A LOT during the day.  Just think after diaper changes, before feedings, when cooking, cleaning and many many other times.  The constant washing leaves my skin very dry and by the end of the day my hands are usually a bit irritated.   I am really not a fan of moisturizer creams that contain tons of chemicals so I try to avoid those, specially since I am always touching my son's skin as well.

I was contacted by Skin MD Natural to review one of their shielding lotion a little while ago and I decided to give their lotion a chance.

I tried their lotion because it doesn't have any fragances, parabens, petrochemicals or dyes.  Also because it is hypoallergenic and I don't have to worry about further irritation to my skin.

I started using Skin MD Natural every night before going to bed.  The lotion doesn't leave my hands with any greasy residue and I like that I just need to use a very small amount for both hands.  From the very first night of used I noticed a difference in how soft my hands were feeling and that continued during the day.  I started using it after my morning shower as well and it kept my hands hydrated all day until night time when I applied it again.

Skin MD Natural is not a conventional lotion. Instead, it is a shielding lotion that bonds with the skin to protect it for a longer period of time. That's the reason it's supposed to help the skin keep its own moisture  and allow it to heal.

No animal products or testing/Fragance & Colorant Free & Hypoallergenic

Something else I had a chance to review was the Skin MD Natural Lotion with SPF15.  Very useful now that the sun is starting to shine bright again where we live.  This time I applied it to my face and I must say my skin was super soft all day long! I was a bit worried about the face shine factor and the lotion making my skin look greasy but I had no issues with that.

One thing I really like about Skin MD Natural is that they are an eco friendly skin care option. Their product is made in the US using solar power energy and it is never tested on
animals. It also contains no animal ingredients making it both vegan and cruelty free.

In general I enjoyed testing the lotion and would recommend it to anybody experiencing dry skin. The lotion is also supposed to work wonders for people with eczema and other tough to handle skin conditions.
