I found Teach My while looking for educational tools to teach my little one how to count, the alphabet and reading. He is eager to learn and he loves when I sit to play with him and when we read books etc. I was looking for a more interactive way to play with him instead of using a DVD. I prefer when I am involved and we are both doing something together.
I received the Teach My Baby Sound & Touch and the Teach My Baby First Numbers kits to try and we have been using them daily for a few weeks.
The Teach My Baby Sound & Touch kit includes 1 Board Book, 6 Two-Piece Puzzles, 6 Touch & Feel Flashcards and a Teaching Guide. I really like how the kit comes in a reusable storage bag that is easy to store away and take with you on the go. The board book, puzzles and the touch and feel flashcards are all coordinated and work together to encourage repetition. I like that each one of the activities keep his attention just enough time to switch to the next. My son loves touch and feel books and cards so he really enjoys the time we get to play with the cards.
The Teach My Baby First Numbers is a great tool to tech baby the concept of counting from 1 to 5. The kit also comes in a reusable storage bag and it contains 1 Board Book, 1 Double-Sided Storyboard, 5 Finger Puppets and a Teaching Guide. The finger puppets are my little one's favorite activity, he really loves it when I count from 1 to 5 and use the storyboard to play with him.
I love how interactive and fun each Teach My kit is and how easy it is to teach my little one new things. There is nothing like real face to face interaction with your baby.
The materials are all very high quality and I know both kits will last us a very long time. I am really looking forward to trying out their other lines of learning tools for Toddlers (18 months +) and Preschoolers (3-6 years). The Teach My kits would also make the perfect holiday gift for a new parent or for your own little one.
