The Basa Body line of 100% natural skin care products just launched last November and I am excited to feature their products here. All of their products are made with virgin organic coconut oil produced in Mombasa, Kenya.
Basa Body was named after the women of Mombasa, Kenya. This amazing company has provided a source of sustainable income and employment for the women there, while donating 10% of their profits to humanitarian projects in Kenya. I really like companies that give back and do something for communities in need.
I got to try their Basa Body Lotion and their Basa Body Stick and I really like their products. They contain no parabens, artificial fragrances, preservatives or irritating chemicals and they are perfect for people with sensitive skin.
I love the coconut scent (very mild), it makes me feel like I am at the beach applying suntan lotion. I also like how easily my skin absorbs the products, leaving no greasy residue or feel. The coconut oil has antimicrobial, antibacterial and antifungal properties naturally so it is also perfect for people suffering with skin conditions like eczema.
During the winter my skin is usually pretty dry so I tried both the lotion and the body stick everyday after my shower and before bed time and I my skin has been feeling so soft. No more dryness and I just have healthier looking skin in general.
I definitively recommend you check out Basa Body and their line of products. Not only do they have amazing products but they also help communities in need in Kenya. Purchasing their products you can take care of your skin while supporting a good cause at the same time.

ReplyDeleteJanuary 25- You mentioned in Winter Activities that more young women and babies are being welcomed in different venues. Just last week, Jennie(my granddaughter) and Samantha, her six week old baby, were out with other young mothers and babies to just such a venue. I think this is wonderful for these young mothers. It helps, in my opinion, to ward off the isolation that may lead to postpartum depression.-el03ro
