Baby Bond Flex Feature & Giveaway

Nursing is a beautiful experience and I have been lucky to experience it with my baby. I have heard a lot about the importance of making eye contact, interacting, communicating and talking with your baby while nursing. With BabyBond I found a great way to cover myself but leave my baby uncover at the same time. I received a Baby Bond Flex for review and I love the design.

I have been fortunate to feed my baby exclusively with breast milk since birth.  Along the way I have tried several nursing covers for when we are out but I haven't found a great fit for us until just recently. I received one OpinO Comfort Nursing Cover to review from Posh Mommy a Maternity and Nursing Boutique in Alberta, Canada. I am happy to say that I have found a favorite!

Nursing Reminder Feeding Log Bracelet Review

Nursing Reminder Bracelet
The nursing reminder bracelet is one of those things I wish I knew about before I had my son.  I remember the very first nights after coming home from the hospital with our son when we had to "log" his feeding times.  Like many people we had a notebook and a pen and I had to carry it with me everywhere.  Really, who wants to be looking for a notebook in the dark at 2:00a.m. or 3:00a.m?  After looking for a solution I found a Nursing Bracelet from eBay.  I loved the idea and how brilliant it was to log the time your baby last fed in a bracelet that you can wear all day and night. On top of that you could also use it to remind you of which breast your baby last fed from.

Simply Snazzy Nursing Necklace Review

My son loves the colors and shapes
When my son turned 4 months old he was more alert than ever and nursing time became a bit of a struggle as he was getting distracted with every little noise or movement around him.   His little hands were also constantly pulling at my hair and clothes and I wondered what to do.   It is really difficult to be in a completely quiet environment while nursing if you are not at home and even at home he found little things that were distracting.

After some online searching I found a site that offered a "nursing necklace".  It is meant to occupy and reduce distraction while your baby feeds. However, it is NOT a toy or teething toy but it is for mommy to wear while she breastfeeds.  These necklaces are lead and phthalates free and that was a selling point for me. They also have a 3 year guarantee and are made so they don't break easily.
